Has played music since his childhood. He studied jazz at The New School in New Yok City. Rob is a fantastic multi-instrumentalist and teacher of youth. Some of his other projects include Bossanaire and Tonewood Trio.
The heart and soul of Shamwari was born in Chimanimani Zimbabwe on the 22nd of December, 1958 and began playing guitar at a very young age. He lead the group The Zig Zag Band in Zimbabwe and is now perhaps most famous as lead guitarist of Thomas Mapfumo's Blacks Unlimited.
Took piano lessons as a child but never really practiced and eventually gave up on being a musician. Then, in 2008, he studied abroad in Senegal in college where he began taking Kora lessons. He hasn't slowed down since. Other projects include performing in and producing the show Sanibonani (Hello, How Are You?).
